Catfishing

Looking to go catfishing, central part of MI, big rapids, newaygo area, or even grand rapids, don't know that area to much though. Went out on Rogers Pond this past week with no luck, just wondering if anyone is catching them and maybe a general idea where.

I know a lake that's loaded with channel cats, but it's in Southeast Michigan. I always tear them up on Belleville lake.:D I would honestly help with your area your fishing, but I don't know it well.

Thornapple river

If you dont mind the drive sessions lake is full of them. Neighbor kid says they catch up to 20 a night. I was out there a summer or two ago and caught a ton of them. Or the thornapple or Grand Rivers are good also.
