Kent Lake traffic

I went fishing last sunday morning at Kent Lake and there were so many boats on the lake I thought there was a tournament going on. Even with the bad weather there must have been 2-3 dz boats. I've never seen this many boats out there. Typically I've had limited success out there but did manage to catch a bunch of small LMs in a couple of hrs. Is the fishing production up there significantly or are we limited to public fishing lakes w/out the recreational users and this lake fits the bill?

Kent Lake usually gets at least one Bass tourney a week during the summer
and there was last Sunday.
It's a big lake with lots of parking at the boat launch which makes it desireable for the money game.

well that explains it....I didn't see a weigh station so I didn't think there was a tournament.

Hit kent during the week day,much better.And as far as the tourny goes,rather have a fellow fisherman than a ski boat going mach-9,ten ft. from ya....my 2-cents

I was there tonight and they were doing there weekly tuesday small tourney with about a dozen boats.
Although there is a 10 mph speed limit I oven see them going mach 3.
