I bought a Greens Tree Saddle but never seen one used. It didnt come with the video that was suppopsed to be with it. Im looking for any tricks or ideas for using one. Are they comfortable and how do you sit there?

Here is a good link from John Eberhart on how to use it... You have just purchased an item that will change the way you hunt. This one tool will open up an entire new chapter to your hunting mobility and therefore success, especially in pressured areas where you must take advantage of every potential opportunity.
Here is what I suggest for first time saddle users...http://www.deerjohn.net/saddle.html

What info are you looking for exactly?
You do sit facing the tree.

I'll check to see if I still have my video. It's worth watching in order to understand how to make the wrap around the tree with the strap. That's the hardest part to understand and really difficult to explain in words.
Tip: Set up all your trees way before season and leave steps in the tree if possible. I take out the bottom 6 so no one sees them and takes off with them.

It works very well. I am going to try the Lone Wolf sticks with it this year I found the rope on steps too bulky for me. If you get ahold of Trophy Line they could get you a new video for five bucks I think, maybe free.

That's what I was thinking, just tell them it was not in the package. I can't find mine, otherwise I'd set it to you. I'd really suggest watching it before you fool around with it too much. You really want to understand the correct way to rig your strap. After that, you can improvise a bit!
