That whine they are doing gets them better seasons than we get. We might have to take a page from their book and do a little whining to our law makers. Or go to Lansing and put on a couple of those chicken dinners. I think they call it lobbying.

Problem is, not enough lawmakers recognize the legitimate revenue that is brought into the state.

Well, maybe we aren't the greenhead capitol of the world and boast tons of ducks migrating to our region with tons of competent guides ready to make a buck with duck shooters.

We just do not have anywhere the political juice that is necessary for this type of a concerted undertaking. Our politicians don't envision ducks as big bucks for our state, no matter how many "chicken dinners" we slap in front of them.

We'll see about that later. We can add sub-forums underneath michiganwaterfowl.com is things get busy enough around here. Looks like you guys are off to a good start though.
