Fished the area off Metro beach and Ginos early. Water depths from 9-12 feet, areas of floating weeds and also some clean areas. Took 5 nice walleye and a bonus perch. Harnesses seemed slow, so got out the K5 & K7 Kwikfish in chartruse colors tipped with a small peice of crawler and trolled very slow. Saw other boats netting around me in the same general area . Bugs were bad early , dead calm

Fished the Sout Channel just south of Seaway Island this morning and got a limit of walleye and lost 2 from 10am to 11am. No wind, the water was calm and those little gnats were every where. Fished BB's in 25 to 29 FOW. I'll have to wait till Monday for my next trip out there. Too much boat traffic on the weekends.
