SCR friday morning report

[Slick fishing]

Hello all Sweatyspartan and I headed out on the mighty river this morning:lol: the bite started slow and turned on quick and then shut down not long after, it least that is the way it seemed to me.. The hot color of harness today was chartruse and gold beads, We talked to another boat at the ramp and he said they limited but had to work for them as well.. We neded up with 8 nice walleye in the box for our efforts, enjoyed your company today sweatyspartan we will do it again one day.. Cya Slick

Thanks again Brent for the lesson. After losing a couple of rigs to the bottom of the river, I think I started to get a hang of it (sorry about that again:sad: ). Great time on the river and good company.

Good job slick. I sense a conspiracy theory with this weekends torunament. Are you sure you didn't purposely plan it for boat race weekend to put the Algonac gang at a disadvantage?

I tied some Spinners rigs up with floater beads. The walleyes liked it. That's what I've been trying out with good results. I know you don't need any help but if you are like me you like to try different things.

Nice job Slick! BTW, I'll be the boat anchored outside the harbor Sunday morning waiting for you to lead me to the fish. This will be my 1st time fishing Walleye in the SCR. I have good experience in the flats but have never tried for Walleye above Algonac. Good luck to everyone! :)

The weirdest thing about fishing was slick was that he took the bigger fish and put them in a special livewell and said he was keeping them for the tournament. Not sure what he meant by that:lol: :lol:
