Obviously the in town one is closed, but the DNR launch will be open.

I called the Algonac PD this morning and that is where I got the info.

well thats better news then i heard yesterday. i was told by the state park attendant that she was pretty sure it was closed but not 100% sure.

so we can get out of the launch, but can we fish if we are N. of town or S. of Harsens ferry? good holes south of ferry, how about Canadian side?

Does anyone know how far up the river the races will run? Would it be possible for me to fish the early morning in Algonac and then head up past the State Park when racing begins?

If I launch at the DNR launch will I be able to get back there once the racing has begun?
