got to the 12th. street ramp in Port Huron at 8:oo, thursday nite. Thought sure I was going to pay the $5 parking fee. But I lucked out on the last space in the lot. But what a mad house it is in that lot. The area to manuever your rig is small at best, so with the coming in and going out it is no place for a rookie trailer handler to be. To do my fishing, I'll be dumping the boat much later at that ramp. That being said, my luck ended with getting the last parking spot. Whipped across from the Canadian power plant, got one fish in three hours. Lots of boat movement, not a good sign. Decided to move, could not get anchor loose, almost destroyed hand line reel when anchor rope got around it, got it loose just in time. Anchor still hung up after numorous tries so I had to cut the rope. Still time to try some hand lining, wrong, after the battle with the anchor saw that the lites were a lot dimmer than before so my nite was done. Talked to three other boats the tally was none, none, and two. All were whipping. Don't know how they did in the lake, but that's another place I stay away from until way later.

that is a good story if i have ever heard one. From the sounds of things i think you did a pretty good job keeping your night running smoothly. My luck i would have sunk the boat or something.
