where should i go for eyes

so far this year ive only fished algonac and since the races are coming this weekend where should i go sunday? further down the north channel past harsens? out by metro? any tips?

Try further down the NC, down by Deckers and out by Grassy Island. I would also think with hot weather we've had that the area near the Firecracker will be heating up.

I got 4 eyes and 2 bass off the beach in 8 fow this evening, lots of weeds and a good number of boats. sure wouldn't hurt to try out by the channel to get out of the weeds. good luck this weekend. ;)

its a big red and white shipping channel marker just off of seaway island. its on the hotspots map if you have one of those. its not too bad of a run from the crocker launch if you have a decent HP motor on your boat.

I only have a 50hp on my boat and I made it out there last night in about 20mins from the Crocker launch. Only caught 3 though.

Go give the Firecracker a try. We've gotten 24 keepers out of there in the past week dragging BB's.
