Au Train Area Fishing

WE ARE GOING TO LAKE AU TRAIN END OF JULY AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNEW OF A EASY SPOT THAT I COULD TAKE MY 6 1/2 YEAR OLD

Most every creek in that area has trout. One thing I like to do with my daughter is drive around and fish under road bridges. It's usually good for one or two fish and the access is easy, the fish are never big, but at that age they don't really care...

One word of caution, the trout regs on the L. Superior streams in that area (the Au Train I believe is one of them) are kinda crazy cause of the Coaster Brook Trout program. 1 brookie, 18 inches I believe, so you might want to double check your book before you head out.
