Why trade a 10 cent tube for the life of a gorgeous 3 lb smallie?
Please crush your barbs out there. It can be the difference between a great memory and healthy fish alive to bite again and one of the heart breaking floaters I'm seeing out there now. We drifted by a 4 lber tonight. Accidents happen, but there's no need to try and dig your 10 cent tube out of a fish that deserves a chance to live.
We caught two fish over 20" tonight. Both were hooked in the gullet. Both fish were released alive, hook free with minimal stress due to a crushed barb.
