Well I had planned to fish the Betsie for the Majority of the afternoon on Monday but instead I had to settle for the last half hour of light and a couple of hours after dark.
Homestead Dam was packed at first so we hit some upper stretches and found a fair ammount of fish (Both chins and coho). had several good hookups in the last half hour of light but couldn't land any. A few fish were spawned out....Yuck I hate white tailed chinnies!!!
Anyway after it got dark we headed back to Homestead where the crowd thinned out and hooked a couple of dime bright fish ( Yeah you know the species! They have arrived early this year!)
Anyway I had fun on my bonus fishing trip! I'll havta try that river for a "real" fishing trip sometime!
