Drakes are going good, started over the weekend, and the fishing is awesome. :) :)

Yup. Caught some nice ones last night. Drake hatch was very good by me, others did not have much luck at their location. They were still on the water at 11:15pm but not much feeding then. Caught an 18, 16, couple 12-13 inchers and for the life of me could not get two hooked up for 30 minutes of trying:confused: Once I'm on a decent fish, I become one-fish-minded in hooking that one fish no matter whats feeding around me. I'll be out tonight, if I can remember to take the camera I'll try to get some pics.

Very nice hatch-I was completely horrible at catching/hooking anything last night!!

Over the weekend I encountered a huge diversity of insects at dusk. There were drakes, tons of caddis, sulphers, and I swear hendricksons. I watched my drake, caddis and hendrickson imitations float over fish after fish with consistant indifferance. I finally figured out they wanted the sulpher duns. I took some nice fish as it got dark and I had to leave. While the Drakes were present, they did not dominate in my section of the mason tract, and the fish were not targeting them yet.

Good luck.
