Hey everybody, I am heading towards Charlevoix this weekend and was wondering if anyone knew of good places to fly fish in the area. I would love to hit the salmon run in that area if possible or just do some late season trout fishing. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks!

whitefly, try fishing the jordan river for fat browns.pinny bridge road off m-66 is a great place to start.the road follows the river all the way to the fish hatchery.the river is full of down trees, but if float your bait enough times under the logs your always guaranteed your limit.the jordan is the preetiest stream around,in fact i drive there to fish instead of fishing the boardman which is five minutes from the house.

Thanks primo,
I appreciate the information. I love that area and have heard of the Jordan, just never fished it. I have fished the Boardman once, but didn't do very good.
Tight lines,

If you visit the Jordan you should also try State Road East of M-66. Park at the Culvert and walk west to the power line. Then head south, the river will be on your left.Once you get past a small depression, which is usually muddy. Go 100 yds or so and move toward the river.Once at the river move south through the woods, as far as you wish to go.
It's a small challenge with big rewards
