A farmer suspicions his wife is cheating. He searches her drawers in the bedroom and finds an envelope with three soybeans and $30 inside. On each bean are the same initials. Perplexed, he confronts her with his find.
She admits to the affair with the person who has the mysterious initials, and begs forgiveness. She explains to her husband that she was weak, and to remind herself of her moments of weakness she kept the beans.
Being a good Christian, the farmer forgives her. He makes her promise to never let it happen again, and to get rid of her momentos.
That night, he is still troubled. He asks her, "what was the $30 for?"
She replies, "I sold the other beans when soy hit $10 a bushel."
:yikes:
