just a quick hatch report , cause I know how much you guys like those.
I have fished the Ausable 4 times in the past two weeks. Tuesday and wed are the most recent.
I have been seeing a few dark henny's during spinnerfall, haven't been seeing anything emrge though, i think they are about done for the year.
Caddis are popping during the day...South branch was polluted with them wed!!
been seeing mahoggany's during the late afternoon.
sulphers, just a handful of emergers
bwo's lots of them
yellow stones, saw the first bunch of those wed afternoon.
light henny's
The fish have been rising the best in the mid afternoon mostly been hitting the South branch during the day and them switching to the mainstream at night.
Somebody pray for warm weather!!! i want to see a good ole sulpher spionnerfall next week!!!!

Weezer,

Good report. The upper Man had dark Hendricksons emerging Tuesday. I think this makes sense because I have heard the Big Man is a little colder and therefore behind the Au Sable, hatch wise.

I also agree that early afternoon has the most fish activity, for example 11am - 2pm. I had trouble getting fish interested in biting with a big hatch going 2-4pm.
