Wraps on CX Maxima Hunter Arrows

Does anyone have trouble wrapping CX Maxima Hunters? Wraps don't seem to stick very well. Any solutions?

Does anyone have trouble wrapping CX Maxima Hunters? Wraps don't seem to stick very well. Any solutions?

I use wraps on my black Maximas and do not have any problems. All I do is clean the shaft with a little Ajax or Comet on a wet Scotchbrite pad, then just rinse with water and dry. This is a good way to clean the shafts for fletching also.

I guess I got some bad wraps. The new ones stick well.
