Having never fished the lower PM, I'm wondering if I could get some advice. We will be staying at Henry's campground. Is there any good holding water with-in a couple of miles up or down-stream? Are there any bait or boat restrictions in that stretch? Thanks in advance. Shoeman

NOT SURE WHERE HENRYS LANDING IS BUT I CAN TELL YA ANYWHERE WEST OF BALDWIN IS GREAT FOR WADING. OF COARSE BE SURE YOYUR AWARE IF YOUR IN THE FLYS ONLY STRETCH CAUSE THATS NOT KILL YEAH U HEARD RIGHT NO KILL BUT IF U TAKE 10 WEST OF 37 TO UPPER BRANCH BRIDGE THERES A KILLER ACCESS SITE THERE. ITS ABOUT 12 MILES WEST OF 37 GOOD LUCK
Theres a really good hole at the campground/park across the road from where you'll be. I think its called riverside park and campground. I don't believe they have any restrictions for that section of river except that you can't keep atlantic salmon. Don't much care for henrys though. They appear to cater to the snaggers, even encourage it by selling those stupid torpedos. Shoot, they don't even sell actual fishing line or hooks. It's all forty pound mono, big trebles, and lead! The place makes me sick!!!! They even have a sign posted with a picture of the DNR that says "watch out for this guy, he's out to ruin your weekend". We need more businesses like this. Not!!!

Shoeman I agree with Erik that is a great stretch of river, but this time of year you will have to deal with a LOT of snagging so much so that it is hard to fish right. I think you would be better off going up to branch.

Thanks for the info.I didn't realize that Henry's cater to that type of crowd. Oh well.I guess, I should have checked with you guys before I made reservations. I'll make the best of it and let you know what happens.
