ANYWAY WENT 1-4 HOPEFULLY ILL BE PROFICIENT ENUFF TO ATTACH A PICTURE WHEN THERE DONE BEING DEVELOPED & SCANNED. FUN TRIP BUT I PERSONALLY THINK 2 MORE WEEKS & ITS GONNA EXPLODE UP THERE.

Man the salmon run is developing slooooow this year!!!! By this time last year we had people screaming "It's Over!!!" in the PM and Big M and the guys fishing the piers over on the East side were slamming them!
At the Rate we are going it's gonna be an interesting October!

I agree with you weez, it does seem a little slow in coming. On the Betsie, the bay (near where the ferry was) is absolutely full of fish. These kings are starting to get quite dark, and they don't seem that interested in running up river. It seems that when a fresh batch comes in the older ones then run the river. As for Platte bay, they are really stacking up in the lake, all we need now is for some cold weather to cool things off, and send them up river. They aren't even close to harvesting at this point, and I swear the always close by now. I just want to be there when they do come in close.

Its got to be the heat. Here it is sept and we're getting the heat we should have had in aug. I'm not complaining though. I've already had alot of fun so far. Learned some really cool spots on the PM. Looking forward to getting over there for some steelhead. Any one know when they start running on the PM?

My best quess would be around the middle of Oct, at least in fishable #s. November is always the best month in my opinion, either on the PM, or any of the Northwest river systems.
