Was looking at their boats and really like the layout for fishing. They are made for the west coast but would they work here in the great lakes? How would a jet drive work compared to an outboard or I/O? I think most of their models can be ordered with any type of drive.

I to love the Alumawelds and would love to own one someday......prices are steep, but they tanks! I want one!! I'm sure other brands are good as well, I've just never seen them up close. I'm sure they would work great here in Michigan....just have it built and powered with the right option for the fishing you do. Heck, purchase a regular outboard and then buy a jet drive for it and switch them out depending on your fishing location. I know some folks that do this.

They would work great on Michigan's larger rivers. They are along the same lines of Wooldridge, Alumaweld, North River...
Nice boats but not cheap,
