Didn't get to fish near as much as I wanted to during the holiday, but managed to get down to the river at least four times while we were there.
The water temp was pretty high at 72. The water was lower than normal, but the current was up. Gin clear, you could see bottom very well even in ten foot deep holes. Fished my favorite holes and found fish in every location we tried. Not one that was willing to bite till monday morning. On my last visit before we went home, mon morning, I managed to get a couple on, only to loose them both. I have'nt managed to land a salmon this entire season!!!! Arrrghhhh!!!! I'm starting to get a complex!! Hopefully these cooler temps will help get things really going. I for one am more determined than ever to land one! Just one, that's all I ask!
