There are a few kings in the west Bay and the east bay also. Not much in the Boardman yet, its just been too darn hot. But it won't be long. If you fish the west bay, they (boats) seem to be concentrating right in front of Clinch Park Beach, the East Bay seems to be fishing about the Middle of the bay. Not to worry you'll see the boats in east bay. Hope this helps

Thanks toto, any reports from Frankfort? Don't have much time to fish this year and I need to make the most out of this week-end.

Frankfort has been really good for a while now. Lots of kings and cohos around. If you have a big enough boat, you may to give Platte Bay a try. I haven't been yet (In PLatte Bay) but I understand that it is filling up with cohos. Try the Herring Hole south of Frankfort. Launch at Frankfort go about 5 miles south. Deep water close to shore, and always fish there this time of year.

Primo, yeah theres been a few fish running upstream, last Saturday I think a few went up with the rain we had, but not really sure. I suspect when the water cools down a little there will be a nice heavy run. It seems that they are staging all over the place near Frankfort, tried to get out yesterday, but just too windy. Will try again this weekend hopefully. get your surf gear ready, I will get a hold of you before long.
