PM report

Went back to the PM sunday 8-27. Water was up just a bit. Very turbid, and the temp rose to 67 degres. It was 61 the weekend before last. Fish were few and far between, but still very fresh.
Had a snagger invade my hole while I was drifting it. He started making small talk, (as if!). He told me that he knew what he was doing was cheating but he said he releases all that he catches. He's telling me this while he's casting a huge lead weight with a grapling hook across the hole I'm drifting. Needless to say I moved on!

I don't understand why anyone would want to snag a fish on purpose! I have fought plenty of foul hooked fish and they aren't fun!
Erik, what section of river were you on? Lower,flies,?? and how were the crowds?

I was on the lower river where it branches apart. Are you familiar? Crowds were non existent, but remember, it was sunday. I did find some fish, on my third cast of the day a fat female nailed my burnt orange glo bug. I managed to get a good look at her but when she headed for some logs I put the pressure on and she broke me off. What are you going to do!
