I think its time for Bertuzzi to step up an make a difference,I know he's flatened some guys but with his size he could be a lot more physical, seems like he pulls off checks more than he makes an this series is gonna be rough, how bout Pronger an him go toe to toe the first shift:D :fish:

I personally don't think that you will see much of a change in how Bert is going to play from the previous 2 rounds.

Not much of an impact tonight. I think he's still hurting.

Yeah he has laid a couple of big hits, but I think he is still recouperating (sp). One thing I have noticed, that may have been mentioned in this forum already. But man, he sure seems clumsy out there. I mean like he is playing with vertigo or something.

I really want to see him level pronger.

He, Calder, Cleary and Franzen are the guys who can neutralize the Duck's big forward. I'd like to see them fired up and hitting.

Did you see that "spin move" he pulled behind the net last night?? It was nice,, he did a similiar move in the first minute or 2 of one of the SJ games as well. Most of the time he does kinda look like a clod out there. I say just give him time,, he'll be fine. On the other hand,,, watch the "Niedermayers'",, skate,,,, watch they're "legs",,, man they are SMOOTH,,:dizzy: Reminds me alot of Coffey.

Bertuzzi has been overrated his whole career. He's a big guy that's been blessed with good hands and benefitted from playing with an awesome centerman.

I have never been impressed with his physical game and I hope to god he's playing hurt because he's probably the only guy out there that isn't finishing checks.

Definitely worth the first round pick. They wouldn't be where they are without him.

That draft pick in trade is performance based. Depending on Bert's offensive impact, the pick can be either a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rounder. As of right now, considering Bert has 1 goal and is a -2, I would say that it's more likely that the pick will end up being the 2nd or 3rd rounder.

I don't know if I'd go "that far",, to say he's been over-rated his whole career. And he was throwin' his body around last night,,,, I just hope he doesn't turn into one of those guys that just "doesn't fit" with the Wings. Either way,, it's not like we gave up Oates and got Federko in return,,

I believe it's based on how far they go in the playoffs. I heard an interview with Ken Holland after the trade. From my recollection, Conference Finals= A first round pick.

Bertuzzi has been labeled as a "floater" in the past. I really don't think he's 100% healthy, either.

I really don't think his style "meshes" with the Wing's, either.
