I Know! I am freakin nervous as hell already! Who can concentrate on work? I think Hasek needs to win this series for us. Man! I want to get out of this round and play for the Cup..

I agree Joe. I am concerned with our defense situation, there's only so much Lindstrom and Chelios, can do. Hopefully the youngens will step up.
That last game against the Sharks could have easily gone the other way if it werent for Hasek, and some missed plays by the Sharks.
GO WINGS!!!!

Well, I wish I could watch the game but due to the freakin Vs. network looks like I'll be hitting the archery range tonight. Go Wings!

I know, VS sucks. I am camping this weekend and won't beable to watch the game tonight. So I hope that it will be on AM radio. But who knows with the Tigers game starting at 8:10pm

Does anyone know for sure that FSN is NOT going to televise the game locally?
Ckhanna, try 97.1 FM if there is a baseball game on AM.

The Tiger game is on FSN tonight, so the only other hope is that CBC carries the game for all of us who dont get VS.
I will be at Buffalo Wild Wings tonight to watch the game. (and the Tigers!)

Is it just me or did the Wings look a little sluggish in the 1st period?

they've looked sluggish the whole game. Their passing is what's keeping them in this. Slow, sluggish, soft in the corners.

and second. And the third. They're lucky they got that first goal and Hasek stood on his head, because the Wings were just plain outplayed tonight.

remember like golf they just ask how many not how. and did you not hold your breath when cheli got leveled

Yes I did hold my breath waiting for Chelli to get back up. We could ill afford to loose another defenseman. That was a wicked hit be took and his helmet was falling off about the time his head hit the ice.

Yeah, I held my breath on that one. In fact I told the wife that if we lose Cheli.... we're bleeped. He's our best penalty killer, and if the rest of the games are officiated anything like this one, we are going to need him.
C'mon, Wings in 4!

Ugly win. The Wings don't win many of those ugly ones. I couldn't believe th interview with Lidstrom after the game,,, he said, he thought they played really good. Terrible passing, terrible turnovers, terrible penalties(although not all their fault). I honestly still can't figure out how Hasek doesn't have a 5.5 GAA, ,,,, just like the golf analogy earlier,,, it's not how,, it's how many. If the Wings continue to play the way they did last night,,,, Hasek is gonna have to pull off a "Giggy" for them to advance.

They did play a little rough, but so did the Duck's. And the one thing that matters - They won!
