I think I'm going to fish from shore in Marysville tomorrow night.. Anyone on here fish out there? We got some jig heads (I have 1/32 to 1/8 and got some 1/8- 1/2oz new ones) and some white twister tails and other assorted soft plastics. I also have some gulp to try out there. Anyone have any advice or any last minute tackle I should get before we truck down there?

Seen only two anglers fishing the golf course Saturday night. The Lincoln Park lot was full.
I agree with Joeker51, this combo works great up there: 3/8 jighead - pink or orange - 6" white culprit tails.

If I am thinking of the same place you are, the place right next to the car wash.. I went in there last saturday and man where them jig heads old and rusty:SHOCKED: them things looked like they have been in there 20 years...Cya Slick

Fished out of Port Huron a couple of times in the last week and half, just south of the Black, and all we used were 1/2oz. Pink/Glow with a Mister Twister black/silver swimming shad. We picked up 8 on the first trip and 10 on the second trip all in a 3 - 4 hr. time frame. Hope this helps.

Nicee fish! Well the jigheads we got are all just plain lead. No color to them at all. Grandpa decided to go to bass pro to pick up some tackle since he was in the neighborhood and it turns out Meijer has a better selection haha..
We might try to stop out to badleys on the way out there.. but we're not leaving till 7pm tonight and PH is about an hour away.. plus another half to marysville...
Thanks for the help you guys! I'll post back if we pick up any fish or not...
:D

Good luck out there. Marysville is closer than 1/2 hour though from Port Huron. Maybe 10 minutes max.

Thanks.. got out there tonight just before dusk. Fished for about 2 hours at the golf course, the boat launch just north of there, and then we drove up river a little ways to another park. Only saw 2 fish caught out of 30 to 40 people fishing and we didn't catch anything ourselves... Some guys saying the bite was just not on tonight. Far drive, but it was beautiful out there. All in all it was a good trip just minus the fish :)
Anyone else out fish out there tonight pick up anything?

I fished there last night and can vouch that is was slow during the time I was there (7pm to 10:30pm). Only saw maybe 5 fish caught between 30-40 people. I didn't get any walleye but did land a large carp.
