I was at the ramp on Sunday afternoon. There was a lot of debris on the ramps including a 2 by 4 that had washed ashore with dozens of nails sticking straight up. I picked it up and threw it into the garbage. However, 5 minutes later another boat pulled out of the water with a flat tire. Take a moment before launching to pick up a bit of the mess and throw them out of the way to make it safer for yourself and the next person.
As for fishing, it was a bit difficult for me since I have an 18' bass boat and didn't feel completely safe. I was able to manage a few smallmouth and largemouth straight out from the ramp. c & r all of course
