staurday night launched at 11, fished for 2 hours ended up with 5, hit about every 20 min. marine city launch about half mile down river american side, that night i used red headed smelt, bleeding pearl, and wonder bread, hit all 3.wind and current was moving boat from 22 fow in to 16 fow and back, kept getting fish so we stayed.
sunday night launched from st. clair at sundown, ran across to canadian side, partner popped 2 right away,(22fow) than nothing, ran down a mile to my honey hole, other boats were there but decided to squeeze in since they were anchored just wrong for that spot,(my opionion). nothing for an hour, getting ready to leave (midnight) and than popped a 6#, than 5 min. later popped a spawned out 8#, wanted to let this big breeder go but blood was pouring from gills bad so we keeped here, kept popping fish till wind changed and moon came up than it was slow,(24 fow) ended up with 11 between both of us.
picture has the plugs i used sunday night, 3 on purple one, 3 on red head white body one, than 1 on the front one.
st. clair launch they taped off and closed to launch starting monday am, not sure for how long, looks like getting ready to tar, gravel everywhere.
