My Brother and I got 11 Saturday night from 9 until 11. Hot lure was a purpledecent (sp?) Rap. All nice fish.

Good job!! I have yet to get a fish on the raps, they look good, but I love the Fish Stalkers and Bomber, especially with the BB's in them.. That Hot Steel looks like a great bait, but my first 2 limit trips have been all dark colors.. Last year all my trip no fish on dark colors?:confused: I'm heading out tonight with my Grandpa's old boat from up north a 197? Chrysler, I sure hope to have a good night on his boat in his honor...

I have caught most of my fish this year on this lure. The other hot ones for me are the black head wonder bread and a black and silver pencil plug. This rapala was hot for me early last year and then the fire tiger was the lure of choice after that. Another thing we've noticed is that the fish seem to be just a bit shallower than last year for some reason.

Deepwoods, well I limited out by 11:00 should have been 10:30, but I lost him right at the boat:rant: .. I was glad to do it in my Grandpa's boat though, added a special touch. We ended with 10, my buddy almost limited, and he wanted to get home at a decent time so we headed in.. I am always amazed by boat manner's we had them fly by us close, don't know why? The one time I even had a fish on!!:rant: Than we get there early along with another boat we left the other boat plenty of room making sure to me polite, and another boat comes up and sets in between us?:rant: I only seen the one boat catch 1 fish, but if you don't have the right color or action that's how she goes...
