I took up Fly Fishing About 10 years ago and have been hitting the Rivers in and around Michigan. Hell, I take a fly rod everytime I travel, even to Vegas!!! I recently decided that I could hammer the hell out of about 125 sq miles of Lake St. Clair.

I have the perfect boat to get in and around the flats and with all that water, where would one begin?

A few friends and I hired Guide Captian Steve Kunnath and boy did we have a blast. That Eastern wind Sat whipped that lake up but before the damage hit Steve put us on fish!!! He is a very knowledgable fishing guide. Thanks Steve!!!!

Welcome to the site. What is your target species? I believe I heard several years ago that a guy caught and released 2 large muskies flyfishing in Muscamoot Bay in 1 day. I don't think the season was open yet though. Try the canals for bass and panfish. This is not my forte though. I'm a walleye guy for the most part.
:Welcome:
