Went out today for about 3 hours, looking for some crappies. My canoe didn't realy liked the waves:sad: , but I hanged in, because while I was coming out on the lake (immediately after launching) after about 10 casts toward the point where the gazebo is I hooked and landed a 3.5-4 lb LMB. That got me excited.Went over to the western side of the lake and caught 4 more LMB:10" ,1.5,2.5 and 3lb. Got one Pike about 26" between beach and boat rental and a channel cat about 8lb up in the little bay by the boat rental:yikes:;took me 8 minutes to land it (4 lb line). Just made circles in the bay, stayed out in open water . The catfish hit a #5 HJ Rapala, in 2ft of water.
No crappie caught. Seen a couple carp.

Got one nice walleye this evening. Was only out a short time. May be out there again this weekend since the wind looks pretty lousy for LSC:rant: .
