Having recently started a 2nd, part time job in the evenings i was worried that my son and i wouldnt be able to get to many, if any, playoff games.
Those who know me here may know that we get to 10 or so regular season games and 4-6 playoff games per year. I was really bumming cause I promised my son that if get continues to bring home all A's on the report card than ill get ticket to as many games as i can. Always been our "deal".
So anyway, this 2nd job really screws with the playoff schedule and dont look to promising for getting to any/many games.
So i'm in Lake Orion and the boss of the 2nd job calls and askes if i can switch my schedule around to cover for another guy. This switch gives me Monday evening free!!! So im heading down M24 from Lake Orion and thought, hey the Palace is right down the road! I get to the ticket window and the woman says she has 4 tickets in a row for Mondays game left!!!
Sold, all 4 please i tell her and walk away with the tickets!!! They are only $40.00 seats, but i dont care. Just being able to get to at least one game with my family is worth it. Trying to fullfill my promise to my son for his straight "A"s also makes me feel a whole lot better.
Funny how sometimes things just work out!!!!
