Mullet Lake

I am looking for input on Musky and trout fishing in July. I familiar with the lake and had done some walleye fishing there but want to try something new. Just putting this out to see what kind of responses and information i can get as to success and failures. Looking also for input on how where and when fish caught.

I read an article in Field and Stream about 8 years ago or so and I believe they said to troll the North end along the weed edges. I never managed to get anything the one day I fished it, but then again, I've NEVER fished for muskie. That lake is CRYSTAL clear. We were anchored in about 20' and I saw a pike swim straight up from the depths, take a mouthfull of minnows and swim back down again. It was the coolest thing I've seen on the water.
