View Full Version : Hardy Pond
Fished on Hardy opening day with my brother, a lot of boats on the water, we caught 5 Walleye but only 2 legal, 18 and 19 inches. All fish came on 1/2 oz. hopkins spoons in 26 to 40 ft of water. With all the boats out we couldn't get on some of the better areas. Water temp. was 50 below Big Bend to 55 up at Brower Park. Great day on the water.

I love to fish hardy pond. I spent all of my summers growing up fishing and water skiing there. There are some huge fish there. During the warn summer months I like to cast for the walleye along the weed bed against the shore lines. It is also good to troll with spoons and single spinner crawler rigs in anywhere from 10 to 20 fow. If you like to catch pike throw some bigger stick baits around the bay near Oxbow. Good luck and let us know how you do.
