i sat at twin bridges yesterday and watched salmon after salmon go zooming up river. i thrugh wooly buggers and leache flies at them , but they were not interested, they just wanted to get up river. the next couple of days should be interesteng fishing in the lower river.

Have you ever tried plugs this time of the year, what a hoot. Also, if you have any spawn, try a big clob of it under a bobber, they seem to like that too.

yes i have and it is a blast! but, this year i decided to only use my fly rod for the rest of the year. less fish but more fun! i did try to through little spiners at them but they were very small (small enough to through with a 8wt floating line).
