Really, it's Detroit vs. Big Ben :yikes: Seems extremly weird to be facing him in the playoffs already.
Detroit matches up much better than Miami did, and Detroit has the experience, talent, and depth over chicago. Chicago played tremendously vs. Miami. However, i think that domination will be quickly ended, as Detroit takes the first 2, and goes on to win in 5, 4 of the games being within 8 points.
The difference will be CWebb and Dyess, cause i assume they will stick Ben on Sheed, cause otherwise Sheed will have a field day...

I will pick the Pistons in 6. They had some trouble with them this year.
Benny has told all the secrets to da bulls, so they have inside info.
Should be a great series.
Keys to a Pistons win:
Sheed. Depends on what sheed shows up. When he's on and in form he's
hard for anyone to defend. Will need him for rebounding. He needs
to stay under the basket more and limit some of those 3 point
shots that he falls in love with. Some 3's are fine, just dont fall in
love with them.
Chauncey. Play 'Stones basketball. Dont run and gun with the Bulls.
Controll the pace of the game, make Bulls play to our pace.
Rebounding. Bens gonna get his rebounds, but how many? Let him controll
the boards and we'll have a hard time winning.
I wish i could have seen more of the Bulls vs Heat series. I saw bits and pieces of it. But from what i saw the Heat were really weak defending the
20-30 ft Jumpers. Seemed the Bulls guards were have a field day shooting from there. The Stones are a much better team defending from that area.
Also the Heat just couldnt keep up with the faster Bulls. Thats why Billups
needs to control the tempo of the game. We can play a faster pace but
we are better playing a slower, stones style game.

The Bulls are younger, hungrier, quicker.....but...
I'll take the Stones in a 7 game series...miami was overmatched against the bulls, Pistons have Prince to check Deng...Gordon is going to tire as the series continue chasing Hamilton all over the court...
Chauncey is key, Henrich is a great on ball defender, thats the matchup that will decide the series...Gordon may take his shots at Chaucey as well, then just take him down low..

Game 1 at 7 tonight :yikes: :) Awesome, wish i could go but i have to work  Hopefully i will be home by halftime.
I will say something though, this Chicago team reminds me a lot of the Pistons championship team. This will be the Pistons biggest obstacle to making the finals. Obviously whoever is in the finals will be the best team they face, but, Chicago is the 2nd best team in the east. I think if Detroit stays focus and starts playing true playoff basketball, they should be able to dispose of them quicker than most people think.

Well, game 1 was a blowout. Detroit looked awesome, espessially on defense, sometimes they got sloppy on offense though. The key is they have to keep up the intensity, don't give chicago any confidence and take care of them quick. They are a very dangerous team when they have confidence and rythm, keep them off their game and sweep them....
WOW!!! 95-69. I didnt see any of the game, had to work and got home just as the game ended. Bummer.. But 95-69?? I didnt expect that. Dont think anyone did. Sounds like the D and the O were clicking. Look for the Bulls to come out and play harder in game #2, but the 'stones will be up to the task!!!
'Stones will win #2 Monday. I'll be at that game!!!!

Lets just hope we were toying with them during the regular season because they beat us the last 2 games and one was without Ben even playing. Its funny how they leave Ben wide open to take a shot because they know he wont take it
I say Detroit in 7 only because of the regular season competition they gave us.
