OK guys, couple questions.

1) Is the docks at the end of Newman St. also called the peir, or am I confused?

2) Is there fish to be caught out on those docks? If so, what species? I want some "eyes" and perch, maybe even steelhead (any trout actually).

If this is a good spot for these, I will post up there...if not, there is always foote, but I dont like the drive as I live in Whittemore on M-55. Any good fishing around me would be greatly appreciated if yall wanna share.

Thanks for the tips, advice, and all that happy horse doodoo!

(1) Yes, that is the Pier and State Dock, @ US23 and Newman st.
(2) I'm not sure how they are doing @ the pier.

I do know there are some Walleye being caught out of AuGres, by boat anglers. There are some fishermen on the breakwall rocks @ AuGres, but I'm not sure how they are doing.

I went today, just got back. Docks are good for perch, I got about a dozen keepers (8 inchers). A guy pulled his limit in steelies, all about 10lbs. or more! Wish I could of hooked one. Saw a couple wallys caught also, so its looking promising especially with the full moon tomorrow.
