Anglers edge for top spot in walleye tourney as season opens
Spring rains and run-off brings spawning-minded walleyes up the Saginaw and Tittabawassee rivers from Saginaw Bay.
And walleyes bring anglers to the rivers, especially for the opening day of the fishing season, the last Saturday in April.
