Hey guys, anyone know of any lakes which its possible to camp and night fish, Im looking at doing a 48hour fish, but find most parks are only sun up till sun down. Im looking at fishing for carp and big cats anywhere in lower MI.
Ill have family with me, so it must be a pretty safe spot ettc, and dont mind paying afew $

Muskegon State park should fit what you are looking for. It is right on Muskegon lake. And it has some huge cats and carp in it.

What about the campground at Fishermans Landing on Muskegon Lake. Never camped there but have used the ramps numerous times. Nice fishing area around there.

Carpman,
You could camp/fish on Holloway Res....there is a campground, with some sites on the water and ample shore spots for your game.

Wolverine Campground at Holloway Reservoir doesn't open until Memorial Weekend and it is always busy until Labor Day weekend. Make your reservation well in advance to assure you get a good spot right on the reservoir. NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED though, so bring your favorite plastic cup to keep your beer on the down low.
