Thats the problem with benching him. You never know when he's gonna go 3 for 3 with a homerun. Doesn't hurt having him playing 3rd either.

Contrary - he may be proving you 100% right! Even more than going 3-3, he also had a walk and on top of that it was against the #1 pitcher in all of baseball. Hopefully he uses this game as a turning point.

Sometimes it only takes one good game to get the confidence back. We need good bats all the way throught the line!!

His BA wasn't too great last year either, but he always seemed to have the key hits. We have to remember, it's still only April. . . .a LOOONNNGG way to go. I am sure the .156 will just keep climbing, I think he was 7 for 63 and he is 5 for his last 14.

I don't care as long as his fielding % stays high. Getting a 1st baseman to come off the bag in times of need will help that.
