Wings-Sharks Game 2....WOW.

They always "one goal makes all the difference" and thats exactly what Hanks goal did. He got the puck and screamed Shoot the puck! My wife said he must have heard me, cause he ripped it and I told her that goal just changed this series.

The Sharks must still respect the Wings offense because I cant beleive they didnt go back to the trap like game 1, boy am I'm glad they didnt.

I cant handle many more games like that, I've got a sore throat now and when Pavel scored I think I pulled something jumping out the chair.

Man it is a good thing they fought back to overcome that 2 point deficit. Lets hope they keep the momentum. ;)

If the Wings end up advancing, I think the 3rd period of this game will end up being the pivotal point of the playoffs.

The Wings finally managed to get their forechecking going. Datsuks gamewinner was as important as any goal I can recall in recent years.


The crowd finally got going at the Joe and the team hopefully will be carrying some of that energy with them to San Jose!!

I think the houses down the street heard me shouting swear words!!! Once again, I don't thing the Sharks looked as great as they have made them out to be. Just a quick couple of goals and that is it. The Wings have been great at shuting them down. Now for the late games.:o

San Jose wouldn't have a goal in this series if it wasn't for our 1st period laziness. All of SJ's goals have come off of absolute terrible giveaways. We have to be 100% focused, alert, be smart and keep that puck on the perimeter. We do that, and avoid the 2 or 3 awful giveaways, and we'll be alright. SJ is tough, but after 2 games they haven't wowed me, or looked invincible. They can be beat.:)


On 2nd thought. Uhm, I change my mind. San Jose is invincible. In fact, there is no way that the Detroit Red Wings will win 3 more games in this series. I GAURANTEE that the Red Wings will not win any games in San Jose. That is downright impossible. And if the hockey gods think they can prove me wrong, well they all can kiss my............:shhh:

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about Hanks goal. The wife probably thinks I'm nuts when I tried to tell her, that Hanks goal may just win them the series.

But seriously... what about that Cleary. Man this guy just continutes to impress me.
