Rod Allen wont be in Detroit much longer.He is being recognized nationally as a very good up and coming sports announcer!!It wont be long before he moves on to A big time job.

He is a great color announcer. I watched the 84 Tigers everytime I had the chance but don't remember ever seeing him play but apparently he was on the team. But that's not important. He really know the game the player tendencies.

Wasn't he on the team in April and May? I like him but I still like Gibby in the booth. Mario isn't as small as Josh was but I think Gibson would still be pretty intimidating to him.

I'll disagree, I think Mario and Rod are great in the both. Josh Lewin was kinda a sissy and Gibby was too negative. You gotta love the "Rodism's" :lol:
