I don't know anything about the free-agent receivers; Russell and Robinson. I am sure they are just added for depth hoping that one can make the three spot. Being the eternal optimist I was hoping that Mike Williams still had a shot at being the number 3 receiver, but that just aint happening. Maybe Willliams can move to tight end??? I'd love to see that move.
I have always liked Keith Smith. He has been a solid player for the Lions and I am very happy they resigned him. He will challange for starting time, and will continue to be a solid nickel back.

I'd rather see them shop BMW while he still has a small amount of trade value. Dan Campbell did fine last year at TE and is a better blocker than BMW will ever be. It won't be the end of the world if Johnson ends up being the pick and we don't deal him but WR is not the weak spot on this team. Concentrate on defense!
