any feedback on remington 710 .270s i know a guy looking at one and im just wondering if they are any good for the price, any complaints about. i know they are discontiued but dicks still has some. any comments would be welcomed. thanks

They had recalls, but for the money should be ok as I doubt youd wear it out.

Save your money. There have been numerous posts over the years about the 710 being a piece of crap.

The local gun shops refused to stock the Model 710. Sales were dismal and there was little customer interest. My recommendation would be to buy an excellent used Remington Model 700 for about the same money and get a better rifle. All the best...

Neighbor Kid bought one and had tons of problems; like failure to feed problems with the mag etc. POS Buy a Stevens 200 instead much better gun and shoots better than most can hold. I own 2 and have never had a problem with either.

not a good firearm. built for price point.
you do get what you pay for.
Worthless. Remington should never have tried to approach the bargain market. I have heard of lots of complaints including jamming to the point of needing a hammer to open the bolt. If you are trying to stay lower cost, look at some of the savage guns or as stated, you are a lot better off with a nice used 700. Rick
