Would anyone be so kind as to fill me in on what temperature the water usually has to reach before Bluegills will begin bedding?
Thanks guys,

The reason I ask is that I was fooling around here on the net and found sites that said they start spawning at 60 degrees. I have always thought it was not until it reached 70 degrees. Anyone ever found gills on the beds when it was only a water temp of 60?

I did some internet searching on the subject on this.
It seems that most of the reliable sources had the temp around 68-70 degrees.
