Later in the season, the Mount Morris Rd overpass at night can produce a few fish with jointed Rapalas. East side of the channel on the downstream side usually works best in spring/ summer. The flat on the west downstream side seems better in the fall.
I have also caught a few at the dam, on the resivour side, deep diving shad raps on cloudy days, jointed floaters at night.

Thanks a lot! I'm really looking for someplace to fish on opening day.. I don't have a lot of options cuz I still don't have a boat yet.. Is a lot of the property on holloway private? I gotta go out thursday or friday to scout where/if I'm gonna fish there.

Actually, a huge portion of the Halloway shoreline is undeveloped public parkland. If it's waldo you want from shore the area above is your best bet.
Bass and carp on the other hand............:evilsmile
