If we go, this is going to be the week. What is the word on them. Are they still in, winding down???? Any help would be apprecited.

Also, if anyone has any little tricks that work on them fish when it is really sunny out, I would really apprecited it.

Are you refering to the steelhead? If so, I was out there last Friday. Very few people fishing but plenty of fish. I went 0 for 2, which is good for me. I had a hit on a #1 Mepps and another on a wiggle-wart. Tried flies also, had a hit on a bead-head wolly-bugger or whatever they are called (gold bead head with black marabou body and tail). I'm pretty sure what hit it was a carp, felt huge and just kept hugging the bottom, had him on for a while before the hook popped out. Also, lots of planter steelhead in the river (10 inchers). 15 inches is the legal size there. Had a hard time keeping them off the hook when casting with the mepps and wiggle-wart. Good luck.

I was on the south side of the river at the first bend down from the dam. Nice carp in the picture. Wish I would have landed mine just to see how big it really was.

I take it that was on the side where all the fisherman usually fish?

Actualy, there were 4 fishermen on the other side and just me and a friend on the south side (facing the river, upstream was to my left).
