I have a question. I need to by one of those expandable tracks for under the sewer line on the R.V. I have notice two types. The metal one that expands but appears to only go in a straight line and the plastic one that adjusts to curves. Just want your opinion on which one.
Thanks

I do not have a big rig, but my father-n-law does, And he likes the plastic due to the flexability. I myself ould also prefer the plastic for the same reason.

Glad to hear that, The plastic one is half the price. How long has your father-in-law been using it?
I'm concerned about the durability.

I also have the plastic one. The neatest thing I have seen is a section of gutter and two homemade wooden brackets to sit the gutter on. The guy had several lengths of gutter, the longest would just fit in one of his storeage compartments that ran the width of his rig. The different lengths nestled into the long one and worked great. I keep planning on trying to make one like it, but I keep finding something else that is more important at the time.

Well he bought this motor home brand new in 1983, replaced it once. It doesn't get subjected to extreme colds anymore as they travel to florida for 5 months of the year now. I would say as with anything else it doesn't matter how much you pay or how good it is , it's how well you take care of it.
