Well the suspension isn't enough IMO. Should have been more games for sure. But MaClennan got five games. The Flames were fined $100K and Playfair (kind of ironic eh? ) fined $25K.
This game could be ugly tonight if the Wings put a couple pucks in the net early.

I hope to god they jump out early and get a few goals. In my mind Ignila should have been fined as well for his cheap shot on Schnider. I can't believe that Calgary can even be happy with the image that they now are potraying!!. Nice. Let's go Redwings!!!!

I've never been a big fan of fining the coach and team. Unless of course the coach sends the whole team over the bench for a brawl. "ALL" of the hockey "analyst's" on the stations thought the fine for Playfair and the dollar amount assessed to the team were very "extreme". Although now that I think about it,,, it is kinda Playfairs' fault,,, if his team didn't STINK,, they wouldn't have to do that crap.

I think the fines were not steep enough. I understand the playoff atmosphere, but as soon as they got the Flames falling over themselves, they took it too far too many times. Their play was just DIRTY
