What the F or H is up with the goalie hackin Frazen
twice in front of the net, then a two hander after the play???
the league needs to suspend him NOW!!!
any other player aside from a goalie woulda been gone ASAP
He shouldn't recieve preferential treatment just cause he's a net minder...

Yeah that was as cheap as the sucker punch on Lebda. Sad thing is the league will probably suspend McCkenan (back-up goalie, wont matter to anyone ) and not suspend the sucker puncher or Igilna for the butt end on Schnieder. God forbid Igilna get suspended or even get called for a penalty.

guys I kinda agree with you, the goalie deserves a toss after that hatchet chop but the other stuff is just old time playoff hockey. People have been catching butt ends since hockey's early days, penalties yes suspension no. Drop the gloves like the old days pummel that bastard its worked for the last 100 years why change it now. just my 2 cents

Suspend the goaler and let the rest settle it on the ice. When I was playing I would get my stick up or throw my elbow out when some one ran at me. You can be damn sure I was trying to hurt them, why, because thats what they were trying to do to me. Never believe a hockey player who says " I wasent trying to hurt him." :evilsmile

I think pulling Kiprasof was intentional. I think the back-up went in just to try to get things rilled up. There was no reason for the actions he did. Franzen was inoccent at that point. I just think he got carryed away. So they lost the back-up. They were going to go with kiprosof anyway tonight. just my 2 pennies

I'm gonna have to agree with ya on this one. Calgary was kicking and screaming the whole series about "contact" with Kipper, which personally, I didn't see. With Kipper letting in a bunch of goals,, it gave Playfair a perfect "disguise" to pull him send in the back up and hack some guys,, to try and show the officials that "hey,, this is what we have to resort to if you won't call the contact with our goalie".

There is no way I could disagree with this.
